Tasmania calls out to Kiwis

Tourism Tasmania has partnered with Air New Zealand on a marketing campaign and flight sale deal to raise awareness for the Auckland to Hobart route which re-starts in October.

Air New Zealand offers non-stop flights from Auckland to Hobart seasonally with connections available from domestic New Zealand Airports.

The Air NZ flights are currently the only international flights from Hobart Airport.

The campaign uses the tagline: History, nature, art and food - Tasmania's got it all!

Air NZ is telling Kiwis: “Forest-clad parks laced with hiking trails are separated by broad valleys dotted with food and wine experiences. Historic towns built along rivers are full of riveting stories from Tassie's intriguing past. And Hobart city on the Derwent River has some stand-out cultural experiences, including world-famous Mona (Museum of Old and New Art) on Berriedale Peninsula.”

The campaign aims to attract Kiwi travellers to Tasmania during spring and summer.

Advertising promoting experiences and events will be in market in Kuwiland until August 18.
