Lamborghini roars into Australian wine market

When you hear the name Lamborghini you probably think of luxury cars, not wine.

But the Lamborghini family has its own wine collection, which is now on sale in Australia for the first time.

Direct from the Lamborghini family vineyards in Umbria, Italy, a range of luxe wines is aiming to drive sales.

The daughter of company founder Ferruccio Lamborghini, Patrizia Lamborghini, is passionate about the success of the winery and says that the link with the land connects her to her father.

"From these vines, my father's name lives on," she says. "I believe he would be so proud to see what we have produced."

The wines are already sold in the United States, the UK and across Europe.

Exclusive importer and distributor of Lamborghini Wines Australia and founder of Bon Vivant Global Matt Hanson says he believes the wines will find a niche.

"The Lamborghini range is luxe like we've never seen," he says. "Perfect for an A-list yacht party or a fancy dinner date, a Lamborghini wine offers the highest quality produce paired with an exhilarating and unique customer experience.

"From buying single bottles to box sets, we have thought about all the finer details. [Buyers can] make a statement and a lifetime memory with Lamborghini Wine."

The launch range includes:
