Terrific tasting opportunity for lovers of Italian wines

Calling all lovers of Italian wine. 

The Gamberro Rosso Italian Wines Roadshow is returning Australia this month. 

Leading sommelier Lara Caraturo reports that the tasting will be back in Sydney and Melbourne this month.

Now in its 15th year, one of the world’s best-known Italian events and will showcase 50 wineries to Australian trade, media and wine lovers alike. 

The line-up includes several wines that have been recognised with the three glass award and include offerings from Piedmont, Liguria, Alto Adige, Friuli, Veneto, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Lazio, Abruzzo, Campania, Puglia, Sicily and Sardinia.

This year's world tour includes events in Houston, Mexico City, Auckland, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh, Seoul, Sao Paulo, Calgary, Miami and San Diego. 

Guests will be able to taste up to 200 wines from some of Italy’s leading producer, including San Felice, Fontanafredda, Argiano, Pio Cesare, Colle Massari, Lunae Bosoni, Cusumano, Pasqua, Santa Margherita, Medici Ermete, Ruggeri, Cantina Produttori San Michele Appiano (plus Masi, Masciarelli, Livon in Melbourne only).

Several of the wines to be tasted are not currently available in Australia. 

Three guided masterclasses will take participants on an intimate adventure into Italy’s diverse wine producing landscape. 

Guests will taste 15 award-winning Italian wines in each, hosted by top sommelier Marco Sabellico. 

Seating is extremely limited and tickets sell-out quickly every year.
