A crafty way to explore the best of the Huon Valley

Tasmania's Huon Valley is known for its many wineries, cider producers and cosy cafés, but visitors can now add a visit to an exhibition of star local arts and crafts producers.

The Tasmanian Artists and Makers of the Huon will be displaying their many varied wares at Home Hill winery in Ranelagh from March 13-27.

The exhibition will run from 10am-5pm daily and is sponsored by Home Hill and Frenchman's River accommodation in Cygnet.

Among the artists and creatives featured are painters Lysbeth Driessen and Henrietta Manning; weaver Karen Grady and potters Bronwyn Clarke and Lisa Britzman.

All are based in the picturesque Huon region, Tasmania's original apple valley, and are members of TAMOH, an arts group that was launched in 2019.
