Destination experts sail on each entire voyage and heritage and culture experts greet each voyage in port.
An experienced, professional musher will come aboard Seven Seas Mariner in Skagway, bringing tales of the Iditarod to enlighten guests about the world’s most harrowing race. He’ll also bring along a good friend: one of his sled dogs.
Alaska Raptor Centre staff will come aboard with one of their birds to introduce to guests and provide insights, while Alaskan cuisine and cocktails will be highlighted.
Guests will learn and savour some of the locals’ favourite spots to eat and explore the hidden gems of Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway and Sitka.
All Regent Alaska voyages in 2020 are aboard the all-suite, all-balcony Seven Seas Mariner, refurbished in 2018 with 445 crew members taking care of 700 guests.

Relocation Cruises. These are cruises that are sending to a different spot to cover demand (for instance Hawaii cruises that yachts for sale are sent to the Caribbean's). Cruise lines will attempt to cover their operating expense of doing that voyage by charging low prices.
