An authentic taste of Thailand from chef Jimmy

I am a fan of the Indigo hotels group, where local history and culture play a real role in each property's vibe.

Bangkok’s original radio station site now plays host to a different tune - the boutique Hotel Indigo Bangkok Wireless Road, a 192-room and suites hotel centrally located on a tree-lined boulevard of embassies, leafy grand residences, and exclusive retail.

The Indigo was the winner of this year's Best Boutique City Hotel award.
Char Bangkok offers three distinct dining venues and there is an outdoor infinity pool.

Guests take advantage of the views of the Bangkok skyline to enjoy a poolside cocktail, or enjoy a cooling ale at the 22 Steps Craft House tavern.

Fast and free wifi is accessible throughout the hotel, which is located 400 metres from BTS-Ploen Chit.

Chef Jimmy (Chamlong Pewthaisong) is a star here, leading a team of 35 to maximum-flavor Thai cuisine.

His signature dishes range from som tum (spicy green papaya salad) to pad kra pao, a dish of wok-fried pork, chicken, or beef, cooked with garlic, chili, and hot basil leaves.

Hotel Indigo Bangkok Wireless Road provides Thai cooking classes to suit different guest interests. The Hotel Indigo can select a dish or Thai dessert for the class or the guest can select the menu they want.

All rooms have air conditioning, cable channels and a wardrobe. Each room enjoys a view of the city and all have en-suite bathrooms fitted with a hairdryer, toiletries and terry dressing gowns.

Definitely on my list to try next time I am in Bangkok.
