I particularly like the busy Pak Klong Talad flower market in Bangkok, just behind the Yodpiman Pier and walkway and adjacent to the bustling Pak Klong fruit and vegetable market.
It is the largest wholesale flower market in the Thai capital and a riot of colour.
Get off any of the tourist boats on the Chao Phrya River at Yodpiman - close to Wat Pho and the famous reclining Buddha to enjoy the aromas.
It's not touristy, but is a chance to see the locals in their own environment.
