Cygnet on a Sunday: Market time

Cygnet is small town in Tasmania; around a 40-minute drive south of Hobart.

It holds a produce market on the first and third Sundays of each month (10am-2pm); centred on the Town Hall but also in the car park opposite and along the main street.

You'll find everything from fresh fruit and vegetables to local mussels, fresh bread and cakes; preserves, arts and crafts and often goods made from local wood.

Cygnet is an arty community with several cafés where you can seek refreshments after enjoying the market.

There is always live entertainment and a friendly atmosphere. I took my iPhone along this morning in an attempt to capture the vibe.
